I was stationed at RAF Martlesham Heath, or "The Rock" as we affectionately referred to it as from April, 1976 to April of 1978. Met my wife of 32 years in Colchester. I have been back several times on holiday, have only driven by the site on Foxhall Rd. once several years ago.
