I became reunited with Hurricane LF363 at Duxford in the early part of this century, since then I have seen her many times

This appears on the internet I think this is the Spitfire that I recall seeing in the hangar in 1960, the picture certainly matches the Meteors I have photos of

Both are taken in August 1960, the hangar is still extant in the top picture, in the lower picture the hangar no longer exists and the bowling alley now stands here, the building to the right is the old 11 Fighter Group HQ still standing but behind wire in a compound of British Telecom, the old Felixstowe to Woodbridge road is still in existence with a few deviations between these buildings is still in existence
