He was sent from the USA as a P-47 Pilot, and switched to P-51's later.  He was with the 359th squadron, of the 356th Fighter Group, where the pilots were headquartered at Kesgrave Hall.  Eldon died in Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA on November 13, 2008,  and is buried in the Field of Honor of Fort Howard Cemetery.

 It was with great pleasure to have met up with you and your daughter Deb, yesterday Inez. Perhaps I can post some photos of our get together latersmile

Its been twelve years since I last met Inez. She was with her Late Husband Eldon. and they attended a reunion at MHAS, including going to the reopening of the American Museum at Duxford. I hade several good friends that week, sadly many are no longer with us, but we DO REMEMBER them.
