A prototype Avro 748 Srs 2 was landed on a ploughed field in  tests for the RAF  Tony Blackman Vulcan Test Pilot was in the ****pit and these photos were sent to me by him.

Tony during his career including President of the Empire Pilots Test School, Chirf test pilot for the Avro Vulcan which included a loop and half roll at Farnborough, and accompanying Howard Hughes whilst testing another Avro Airliner. He was used a  consultant on the Hughes Film AVIATOR.
