This private residence now known as Rolls Cottage in Portal Avenue was an Officers Married Quarter in 1960

These are some of the underground fuel tanks opposite the entrance to the Police HQ playing fields, they once contained aviation fuel, I do have a picture of a board saying AVGAS [Aviation Gasoline] I seem to recall some walker who had done his National Service here remembering these as AVTAG tanks
