Will do, here's hoping something turns up. I think this is a totally overlooked era of British aviation and it would be good to dig up some history on it and get it out there. Not sure if I ever posted this on here, but I have made a site dedicated to VN799 and would love to add some more info to it based off her BLUE days:

Steve, did you ever contact the RAF Museum Hendon Archivist and request the Accident Record Card RAF Form A1180, I have found them helpful in the past, the card usually states the position of the crash, there are many abbreviations and if I could help I will with its interpretation
apologies, I didn't see this till now, it's been a busy time and got a bit lost in the ether as it were. Thanks a lot for your suggestion; I will duly contact Hendon and see what I can turn up on the crash.Â
