I took this photo about 3 years ago, it was the last seaplane/flying boat hangar remaining at Felixstowe, known locally as 22 shed, I had on several occasions to visit here and because the lifting equipment/tackle within was rare this was deemed to be Grade II listed due to its historical content, several aviation sites were asked if they wanted the shed and equipment, there were no takers! Not even Duxford, suddenly the shed and its contents disappeared as it was in the way for the new container terminal being constructed nearby.

A few weeks ago a fisherman pulled this catch out of the water off East Lane, Bawdsey and deposited the propellor on the beach at Felixstowe Ferry, I couldn't get any closer on Monday as the tide was still high, it is thought the prop came off a Wellington
