Just a reminder that on Friday 11th November at 1000hrs UK time a three hour broadcast will be live from the Control Tower

Today we had BBC Radio Suffolk at MHAS Control Tower broadcasting a live show by James Hazell from 1000-1300hrs interviewing many veterans and local people associated with MHAS and I met three ex members [or their families] of RAF Martlesham Heath in initial contact their names are

Clive Batten

Ted Warner

I will add more details when I receive some replies

Meanwhile Mr Peter Davies, Chair of MH100, was able to air the 1917-2017 event on BBC

It is hoped that Stanley Chambers will join us next year, the remarkable Stanley is 100 years old, an ex Spitfire pilot who flew out of Martlesham Heath and joins in the mirth on this thirty minute video https://youtu.be/dM4EMzxFrfU Stan was born in Ipswich and still resides in the townsmile A privilege to be in your company today Stan!

We have had three more Veterans/Families joining us * above plus we have Ms Lee Cognetta from NYC who is colating information on the three Eagle Squadrons that were formed during the early parts of WW2 if there is anyone that can help with the research on this please contact John Cooper at http://mh100.org.uk/contact/
