From Stan Miller

Hi John,

Thanks very much for your follow-up info. on the MH100 Celebration on Saturday and Sunday.

I was very sorry to hear about Tarkeys mishap and I have emailed him to wish him well soon.

The event was very enjoyable for both Valerie and i and we were glad to be present at this important celebration.
We much enjoyed the various displays in the arena and I was also impressed with the Army Cadets and ATC Cadets who conducted themselves and carried out their duties very well, as I remembered my happy time as an ATC Cadet in the early 1950s
Thanks also go to you for the large amount of time and effort that you put in to enable the day to go so well.
The thing is.. what next!..hopefully the annual Open Days will continue.
I was very pleased to be able to meet the VIP RAF and USAF Officers who were present as well as Lady Claire of Euston and of course The Red Devils parachute team.

It was good to meet the other Martlesham veterans who turned up and interesting to learn that a few of them were at MH about the same time as me and housed in the same barrack block.

Well keep in touch and I very much look forward to visiting Martlesham again just as soon as I can.

With kind regards.Stan.

Once again, thank you John for all your support to our Aviation Society.

Kind regards,

https://mh100.org.uk/ Click on HOME and it will tell you who the sponsors were and the donations, if I hear the amount raised I will let you know

Something I was unaware of was that I was assigned a team of six Tesco Extra staff from Martlesham Heath to provide food and drink on a fetch and carry basis to all the Veterans and their families and guests, a wonderful gesture, thank you Rosie & Team, you did a magnificent job and the least I could do in return was.......
