I was stationed at #RAF #Wattisham from 1967-69 #Number29 #Squadron #F3, #BAe #Lightning #QRA #QuickReactionAlert meant sitting in a 'shed' [hangar] at the end of the runway for 168 hours [week] This was called the sharp end
