MAEE & RAF Felixstowe

This site must be included here with Martlesham Heath as the equivalent to what MH achieved in the A&AEE Field FXT achieved the equivalent in the MAEE Field throughout the early years of aircraft development and testing

I can't add too much myself to this despite working at The Port of FXT for a number of years so I am going to be reliant on others to do the spadework-please........

Down at FXT today talking to someone I know that is 'in the know' he tells me that 22 Shed on the Port, that is the old Flying Boat Hangar could be moved to Duxford or Flixton? Anyone else heard this, I wouldn't have thought the latter would have the room.Old Seaplane Hangar Felixstowe.jpg
