I visited the BCWM yesterday and what a surprise I had in store, firstly I was given a very warm welcome from Karen and had a mini conducted tour,  then I was shown in what was once a Top Secret USAF Operations Room and was briefed on the Ops by Rory dressed as a Captain in the USAF, joined by John.

I then had a longish chat with Simon on BW history and discussed the exhibits, I have to tell you it took me 3.5 hours to get away so interesting was the Museum!smile I took a lot of photos some of which I will place on here but sadly my photos do not reflect the quality of the exhibits on display.

But why not go and see for yourself or visit here regarding contacts/opening times etc

To BCWM: Thanks very much to the tour and the hospitality, I will definitely be back!biggrin

OK, what is all this about at The Bent'waters Cold War Museum? The RAF Station Crest on the side of this Jet Provost nor to the Latin Motto doesn't appear to exist
