An unusual sight all of these Strike Eagles at Mildenhall outside ATC Tower, these aircraft were here whilst the Lakenheath runway was under repair for a few weeks but no wars were fought as the Icelandic Volcano erupted depositing ash over Northern Europe

The hangars from the 1930's at Mildenhall, the F15 Eagles were based here on a temporary basis in May/June 2010
