The RAF in Suffolk

The Douglas Bader pub is at the north end of the Village Green a 5 minute stroll from the Veterans area, immediately beyond the pub is The Square where there are a few shops inc a Fish 'n Chip outlet, I checked with the cafe on the Green called The Runway they will be open on both days and the Church Hall will also be serving food etc together with a myriad of other stalls

Today I used the Route 66 bus service, no one knows how many people are going to turn up and parking 'might' become a problem, I got off the bus at the roundabout that crosses the A12 Trunk Road and I timed the walk for a 78 year old and it took two minutes, on return, to where the green is I walked to the Valiant Road bus stop which took another two minutes from the pub
